Power of Mentoring events connect youth aged 18-30, with mentors, prospective employers, and the Canadian labour market. Hosted in partnership with private sector businesses, service providers and schools across Canada, Power of Mentoring events invite you to engage in one-time, one-of-a-kind career conversations with mentors who want to support your success.

A Mentoring Networking event at Deloitte Montreal
Deloitte is teaming up with Mentor Canada as part of its 2024-2025 Impact Season to host a unique Power of Mentoring event in their Montreal offices on February 4th from 9-3pm ET. This opportunity comes at a critical time as Canada shifts to economic recovery and looks to engage more youth in the labour market.
Over the course of a single day, a diverse team of 10-15 Deloitte leaders will directly interact with 20-30 young leaders aged 18-30, supporting them in strengthening skills and gathering insights to advance their academic, career, and life goals.
The experience will include:
- Welcome, including a land acknowledgment, introductions, Mentor Canada facilitated activity.
- Micro Mentoring Part 1 – Facilitated career mentoring with Deloitte partners and professionals.
- Business Chemistry, a Deloitte program on assessing natural tendencies and strengthening interpersonal skills.
- Career Circuit, small group mentoring to garner insights into careers and core business units at Deloitte. Young leaders will have the opportunity to engage in small group mentoring discussions to ask questions, seek advice, gain knowledge on emerging careers and insights to emerging skills for work of the future.
- Pathways & Perspectives, a facilitated panel discussion including the Regional Market Leader on career experiences and early career development insights.
- Micro Mentoring Part 2 - Facilitated career mentoring with Deloitte partners and professionals.
