Global Mentoring Collaborative

Unleash the #PowerOfMentoring

Collectively we aim to expand and enhance access to quality mentoring programs and services around the world.

In April 2020, seven different mentoring coalitions from five different continents united to promote investing in youth mentoring as a key part of the global COVID-19 recovery plan.

Through the conducting of research and evaluation, the development of tools, resources, and training, each of these collective impact partnerships are building capacity for mentoring programs and services in their respective countries.

As part of our commitment to raising the profile of mentoring we prepared an open letter that was shared with governments and other key stakeholders in the different countries. View here Mentor Canada’s open letter.

Together, we also created three videos featuring young people and mentoring leaders from around the world that we invite you to watch and share.

As COVID-19 has spread around the globe, young people have been adapting to new ways of learning, working, and connecting. To learn directly from young people on how mentoring experiences have impacted their lives during the pandemic, several global mentoring networks are teaming up to host a virtual Youth Town Hall event on April 29 at 8:30AM EST. Young leaders from
around the world will share their mentoring experiences and insights.

The event will be facilitated in English and will include small group discussions and a panel discussion featuring young leaders from each of our global mentoring partners.
