For the first time, Mentor Canada has evidence to support the impact of mentoring on young people’s lives across Canada. Youth who have access to a mentor are more likely to report positive mental health, education and career outcomes. Yet, over 1 in 2 young adults reported that they could think of a time growing up when they wanted a mentor but did not have one. Awareness is the first step in #ClosingTheMentoringGap - Mentor Canada surveyed over 2,800 young people from across Canada to learn more about their mentoring experiences and about what we can do to close the gap.
