MENTOR Canada is teaming up for the second year with Deloitte from October 18 through November 12 to expand the Power of Mentoring with Deloitte’s Impact Every Day campaign.

Our goals are to help develop the professional networks of young leaders across Canada ages 18-25, engage Deloitte volunteers in sharing their career experiences and insights, and support young leaders in developing/enhancing their skills to succeed at school, work and in life.

We will be matching young leaders with Deloitte employees for a one-hour, 1:1 career mentoring discussion. Young leaders and Deloitte employees will receive tip sheets and a conversation guide to support their engagement. Please note that match introductions will begin after October 18. 

MENTOR Canada will also be hosting weekly 30-minute sessions on Wednesdays from 1:00-1:30pm ET for both mentors and young leaders to gather tools and tips to support your mentoring experience.

We will be focusing on the following topics:

• Session #1 – Networking and informational interviews
• Session #2 – Resume writing and interview practice
• Session #3 – Career planning
• Session #4 – Managing relationships and leveraging LinkedIn
