Dr. Daniel, an Associate Professor in the School of Child and Youth Care at Toronto Metropolitan University, is a leading authority whose research illuminates the factors that foster healthy racial identity development and resilience amongst Black children and youth.

Dr. Daniel has also developed the anti-Black racism curriculum and training material for the City of Toronto’s Confronting Anti-Black Racism (CABR) Unit, underscoring her commitment to systemic change.
