  • Anti-Oppressive Practice: Understanding the crucial role of practitioners in providing meaningful support.

  • Racial Identity Development: Sharing insights on building strong, racially-affirming care that empowers young people.

  • Academic Success: Discussing her impactful work on Black student engagement, retention, and the groundbreaking student support program, The Bridge, designed to enhance academic success for African, Black, and Caribbean students in post-secondary institutions.

Dr. Daniel has also developed the anti-Black racism curriculum and training material for the City of Toronto’s Confronting Anti-Black Racism (CABR) Unit, underscoring her commitment to systemic change.

Special Offer:

One attendee who registers for and attends the presentation will receive a free copy of Dr. Daniel’s book, “We Were Not Built to Break: Racially Affirming Care for Black Children, Families, and Communities.”
