Discover the Power of Mentoring experience

Power of Mentoring events and experiences connect youth ages 18-30, with mentors, prospective employers, and the Canadian labour market. Hosted in partnership with private sector business, service providers and schools across Canada, Power of Mentoring events allow you to engage in one-time career conversations and mentoring experiences. The Power of Mentoring campaign aims to support First Nations, Inuit, and Metis youth, Black youth and racialized youth from across our country to foster meaningful connections, increasing their social capital with private sector employees through facilitated career and post-secondary conversations.

By participating in a Power of Mentoring event, you will:

  • Learn how to build relationships and grow your network;
  • Connect directly with industry leaders;
  • Get answers to your burning career-related questions;
  • Gain the confidence to take these skills out into the real world.

"Through Mentor Canada’s Power of Mentoring events, I have been able to gain access to really great opportunities and networks. The events allow participants to get exposure to various leaders from different organizations and are focused on relationship building which I have found to be really great in expanding my professional network."

- Neha Lalany, Youth participating in Power of Mentoring events
